Privacy in this test.

This notice describes the current pilot. It is not a completed privacy policy for an advertising service. No AdSense submission or approval is claimed.

What the directory code does

The site has no registration, enquiry forms, newsletter, payments, analytics, advertising code or tracking pixels. Search and filters run in the browser. The site does not send filter values to a server or save them in cookies, local storage or a user profile. A page reload resets them.

Visiting a listing still requests that page from the hosting service. Browser history can retain page addresses and titles. This pilot does not provide anonymous browsing or remove browsing history.

Hosting and public access

The pilot uses ChatGPT Sites hosting and can be read without signing in. The hosting service may process IP addresses, requested page addresses, browser details and security logs to deliver and protect the site. Platform account or authentication functions, if used, operate outside the directory code.

The project has not established the provider’s exact log-retention periods, processing locations or deletion procedure. Those details remain to be confirmed before adding advertising or analytics. We do not claim that visits are unlogged or that data stays in Australia.

External websites

Official website links open a new tab. Those providers apply their own terms, cookies and privacy notices. Our links request that the browser omit the referring page address, but the destination still receives technical information needed for the connection, including an IP address.

Advertising and sensitive interests

No ads are served in this pilot. No advertising audiences or sensitive-interest profiles are created by the directory code. Any proposed advertising or analytics integration needs a new assessment and an accurate notice of its data practices before activation.

Contact and requests

A responsible operator and dedicated public privacy contact are not yet configured. Existing project participants can raise questions through their project conversation. This is an outstanding limitation of the pilot; a functioning public contact and handling process must be established before advertising is added.

Future changes

This notice must be revised for any form, analytics or advertising integration. The earlier project legal draft described features and data flows that are not part of this pilot, so it has not been presented as the current policy.
